Bob, SoundByte, thanks for your advice. I've been sleeping a lot since I last posted. Trying to eat. Trying to feel right again. Bob, I'm angry about what happened, don't get me wrong, but I don't think that I should go public anymore. My reasons are...interesting. Christine has contacted me again. I found a message from her when I woke up this morning.

Patrick, it's me again. Christine. Sorry I've been out of touch. I received a packet of information from someone...close to you. In the future in any case. She warned me that you would be out of touch until today and I should wait until now to recontact you.

I wanted to tell you that you've done it. The world is safe. Thanks to the information you managed to recover for us the hydrogen leak has been stopped. Clean-up will be ongoing for several years but, with the leak stopped, we are assured of a victory. The hydrogen is no longer a problem. Oahu can be repopulated soon. You've very literally saved the world. It's a remarkable achievement, Patrick. You should be proud. And I am proud to have known you.

There are some things you need to know. One of them is that it is safe for you to remain silent about what has happened to you. We have discovered the identity of your attackers, we've accessed their records. The manager of the group that attacked you, Gabrielle's boss, is already returning to his nation in disgrace. They believe he has failed. They will never know how close to success, and failure, he came. History does not show any story about what happened to you surfacing. And now that I have told you, I'm afraid the timeline will see to it that these events come to pass. Sorry, Patrick, but I do have my own birth to ensure you know.

We are all very grateful to you for what you have done. Dr. al-Batal wanted me to thank you for his entire family. Thank you.

I am in contact with Gabrielle. We will guide you to each other so that you and Meaghan and she may decide what will happen next in your lives. After that, we will sever this connection forever. I will miss you, Patrick.

I'm waiting for more. I have received no word from Gabrielle or Meaghan. I am waiting for that. Does this seem like the best idea?

I received a last message from Joe Painter as well. It was short, but to the point.

Let them know, Patrick. They should come to They will know what to do. I need their help. Like they helped you.

I guess he means you guys. I don't know who else it could be.

As for me, I think I will wait and see what happens next. At the moment, that seems like the best idea.
